I didn't go to a coffee shop (sorry, I'm a tease) but ended up walking the boardwalk. I didn't realize that every few miles the city changes names. I was in Ventnor city but walked into Atlantic city at one point. And I think we had ice cream in Margate city the other night.
I found that, sitting by the sea, I was at peace and marveling at the serene beauty of nature and the wonders of the world up until the flies started biting me and I went running for the air conditioned hotel room.

So all you need to do now is get to Marvin Gardens and you'll be able to build houses. ;)
If I almost ran you over on the way to work, I apologize
Nice area and not too terribly far from where I grew up. If you get the chance sometime add Sea Isle, Wildwood, and Ocean City to the list. Almost every time I go up to visit I hit the boardwalk. :)
There is always something calming about listening to the seas and just relaxing for a bit.
The dang sand flies are a bitch!
I hope you got to see Lucy, The Margate Elephant.
Hey Jenny, I don't know if you saw this here, but I found a Jenny sighting : http://redstring.strawberrycomics.com/index.html
Just thought I'd let you know ;)
I just started reading your comic today, and OMG it's like reading a webcomic about myself!! Also I agree, yay for local con's Dragon*con is awesome I've been going since I was four!
Also, where will your booth be, or are you just wandering around the con? Hope I get to meet you there....It's rare to find a webcomic artist that's actually in Georgia lol.
also, I'm bored out of my mind, so pardon my rambling, I'm just super excited...LONGEST THREE DAYS UNTIL CON EVAR!
