Now I just have to figure out how to get this onto my website. ah, the complicated life of a low tech person in a high tech world...doesn't help that I make my living from doing a webcomic and I know nothing about website code.

Congrats for getting one of these up! I found your site like 6 months ago and read every single one of your comics since and I just wanted to say that I love your stuff.
Oooo shiny. Good to see it up. Been reading along since this time last year and have you bookmarked as my home page. Love Geebas and as a former retail whore adore Customers Suck!
Hhhhhm-hm, as another (hopefully not quite so) lowtech (anymore) person I can say that Blogspot is a good place to start.
I am not a big Google fan though, so when it still said you could use your old Blogger account (with any email address you wished to use), but 29 times out of 30 when you tried to comment somewhere or post on your blog they tried to force their "upgrade" - including Gmail address (Don't want!!!!) on you, it was time for me to say "Bye-bye, Blogspot" and buy some space of my own. Unlimited freedom, but also slightly coding related work. Fighting spam is quite some workload, so, erm, a busy lady like you should probably stick with Blogspot.
What was I about to say? I'm not sure.
Oh, yes, some weird Dutch person sent me a link to that comic strip with Rapscallion's rule about merchandise placement a while ago, and then we both read all of your backlog in a kind of marathon stretched over a few days.
